Adult Faith Formation Ministries

The following ministry opportunities are available. Please contact Jay Freel Landry at 273-9722 to learn more.

Adult Faith Formation Team
Work together to implement the US Bishops' document "Our Hearts Were Burning Within Us: A Pastoral Plan for Adult Formation in the United States". Share your gifts to teach, catechize, facilitate, and/or recruit others to do the same.
AFF Childcare
Care for children of those involved in Adult Programs.
Bible Study
We gather to engage God's word in community. Interactively participate in a seminar environment sharing how God's word calls us to live as disciples. We usually meet Monday evening at 6:30, and Tuesday morning at 9:15. Both sessions study the same book; so you can attend either. All are welcome.
Center for Peace & Nonviolence
Explore, practice and promote Jesus' nonviolent way of righting wrong and seeking justice. We along with 10 local churches offer training in nonviolence as a way of life, seeking justice and celebrating days like St. Marcellus day on October 30th each year.
Faith Sharing Groups and Facilitators
Most meet during Lent into Easter, offering opportunities for adults to meet weekly to discuss and reflect on various topics. Meant to encourage faith sharing, community among parishioners, and ministry to others.
Marriage Preparation
Married couples receive training and are then available as a mentor couple to meet with an engaged couple for a series of sessions, helping them prepare for a life of marriage - a sacrament and a vocation.
Presenter/Speaker
Different speakers offer one-time or a series of talks on various topics. If you have ideas, please contact Jay.
