Education and Formation
Little Flower offers faith formation and educational programs for children, youth, and adults. To become involved as a catechist / presenter in any of these programs, please visit the ministry section for more details.
Children's Faith Formation
Children ages 4 through 5th grade are invited to participate in the Children's Mass and faith formation classes which start in the fall and January.
When the children's program is not in session, children from age 4 through those who have not yet received their First Holy Communion are dismissed from the 9:30am Mass for their own Liturgy of the Word, returning to their families at the offertory.
Information on baptism and RCIC (Rite of Christian Initiation of Children) can be found in our sacraments section. To speak with Michelle Artusi, our director of religious education, you can call 243-3439 or email her at lfcchildren@sbcglobal.net.

Weekly Thursday night gatherings from 7-8:30 include catechesis, discussions, Lectio Divina Bible study, games, and nights of prayer and quiet. Join us whenever you can--all are welcome! This year we will also have a family service day on Saturday, October 6 at the parish, FaithFest in Warsaw on Sunday, November 18, a parish caroling night in December hosted by the youth, a prayer retreat Friday-Saturday, February 22-23, and much more!

Confirmation preparation
Confirmation preparation is part of the total youth faith formation process. It is built into the 8th grade program to emphasize the community dimension of the sacrament. Service, a retreat, faith-sharing with a sponsor or mentor are important components of the preparation. The date of confirmation varies, usually in May or June, in accordance with the schedule of the bishop. Please email Vicki Schwab (lfcfaithform@sbcglobal.net) for details.
Adult Education
Faith formation and educational opportunities for adults at Little Flower include Bible study, various speaker series and discussions, retreats, missions, marriage preparation, and much more. Our ministry section provides a list of opportunities to get involved, in particular the adult faith formation page. Our weekly bulletin, available from our publisher's site, promotes upcoming activities. You can also learn more by contacting Jay Freel Landry at 273-9722 or lfcoutreach@sbcglobal.net.
The Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA) welcomes individuals seeking to become Catholic. Contacts for RCIA are listed on the adult faith formation ministries page.
Information on marriage at Little Flower may be found in the sacraments section of our site.
